Overview

The superfood market is fascinating. There, consumers can find any number of common and “exotic” foods that have been found to be extremely good for the human body in a variety of ways.

Acai Berries represent, for North Americans at least, a rather exotic option for superfood nutrition. From the Amazon, these berries are known for their benefits to the entire body, including antioxidant delivery.

Unfortunately, this popularity has led some manufacturers to put out supplements founded on ridiculous claims about Acai Berries. Most of these are purported to detoxify, cleanse, and contribute to weight loss through the elimination of excess toxins. We find such claims unbelievable, and the quality of the websites promoting such products leads us to believe consumers are in danger of being fleeced.

Ingredients at a Glance

Acai Berries are a natural source of a number of nutrients and as such are an excellent addition to a balanced diet.

Ingredients in Focus

Acai Berries retain their nutritional content only when freeze-dried quickly after harvesting. Otherwise, they break down rather quickly. Analysis of freeze-dried samples suggests that Acai Berries are a significant source of good fats, a decent amount of protein, and lots of fiber (over 40 grams!). The berries also contain vitamins and minerals, but this content is conventional as superfoods go.
Manufacturers highlight the antioxidants in Acai Berries. The berries do in fact deliver a decent amount of antioxidants, but it’s not as if they’re the best or only source of antioxidants. In other words, Acai Berries are in the middle of the superfood pack. By acknowledging this, consumers can more clearly understand and see through the excessive attention paid to the berries lately. The attention might be the cause for these scam artists who promise unreasonable things for Acai Berry supplements.

Positives

•    Acai Berries are very good for the body.

•    They taste great and can be worked into a variety of food products.

Negatives

•    Too much attention can be a bad thing.

•    Perhaps not the nutritional powerhouse some are claiming them to be.

Final Thoughts

Acai Berries can be a great addition to a healthy diet. Along with regular exercise and a stimulant-free fat burner, Acai Berries can contribute to a lifestyle that promotes healthy, sustainable weight loss. Consumers might want to get their hands on some and reap the benefits. Just be careful of these suspicious Acai supplements – they can’t be trusted.

Acai Berry Power 500

When purchasing any weight loss product, it is important to do your research. Many people are exchanging their opinions about Acai Berry Power 500 on DietBlogTalk.com

Overview

Recently, we have begun to see more and more Acai supplements. Trading on the popularity of Acai Berries as a superfood, these products claim to offer consumers cleansing and weight loss benefits that are only available with this powerful little berry.

For example, Acai Berry Power 500 promises consumers will look and feel better after taking this “all-natural cleansing solution.” But in our view, there is nothing “natural” about claiming that Acai Berries are going to cleanse the body and contribute to a flatter tummy.

Ingredients at a Glance

What Acai Berry Power 500 contains is anyone’s guess. Evidently, it runs simply on Acai Berries, though it may contain other ingredients. The product website is useless in actually finding out anything substantive about the product.

Ingredients in Focus

Acai Berries can deliver good fats, proteins, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Because of this, they’re rightly numbered among the superfood elites. And consumers are right to turn to such foods as great additions to a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

But the manufacturers behind Acai Berry Power 500 are wide of the mark in their characterization of these little berries. Furthermore, the promotion of Acai Berry Power 500 looks suspiciously identical to the promotion of scads of other Acai cleansing supplements. We would not be surprised to find one scheming company behind all such supplements.

Positives

•    Acai Berries are great for the human diet.

•    Acai Berries taste great.

Negatives

•    Acai Berry Power 500 is a misrepresentation of Acai Berries and their properties.

•    Product website looks suspiciously like other, almost identical products.

•    The whole thing has the taint of scam, sham, fleece, and scheme.

Final Thoughts

Acai Berry Power 500 does not appear to be a supplement in the consumer’s best interest. Acai Berries, on their own, could certainly contribute to a healthy diet. And such a diet could lead to a cleansing effect and significant weight loss. When combined with regular exercise and healthy, fat-burning supplementation, consumers are on their way to healthy living like never before. However, Acai Berry Power 500 seems unable to participate in any meaningful way in such a lifestyle.

Acai Berry Ultimate

When purchasing any weight loss product, it is important to do your research. Many people are exchanging their opinions about Acai Berry Ultimate on DietBlogTalk.com

Overview

Acai Berry Ultimate is yet one more participant in a strange, strange niche market. This supplement, and other products suspiciously similar to it, offer consumers a supposed opportunity to harness the power of the Acai Berry for detoxification and weight loss purposes. There’s one teensy weensy problem, however: Acai Berries aren’t known for their ability to do either of these things. Because of this, we’re nearly convinced that there’s something fishy behind Acai Berry Ultimate and its cronies. Take our word for it, take someone else’s word for it, just don’t take Acai Berry Ultimate.

Ingredients at a Glance

Acai Berry Ulimate apparently contains only Acai Berry Extract. If it contains anything else, the product website sure isn’t doing consumers any favors by way of ingredients disclosure. This alone is enough reason for suspicion, but then again, the whole affair has us on our guard.

Ingredients in Focus

Acai Berries are counted as a superfood because they deliver good fats, protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This happy combination is good for the body. And so, the berries ought to be considered a legitimate addition to a healthy diet.

But as for detoxification and direct weight loss effectiveness, Acai Berries have little to offer. To the extent that the berries are typically a part of the diets of health-conscious people, they may contribute in a roundabout way to cleansing and weight loss. But as a cleansing and/or weight loss solution on their own, the berries – and so Acai Berry Ultimate – are nothing to write home about.

Positives

•    Acai Berries are delicious and nutritious.

Negatives

•    Acai Berry Ultimate seems like a scam.

•    The product website is basically useless for an educated decision.

•    Acai Berries are neither detoxifiers nor weight loss agents.

Final Thoughts

If consumers find they’re intrigued by the properties of Acai Berries, then all the better. Incorporate them into a balanced diet and compliment that diet with regular exercise and a healthy fat-burning supplement. But as for Acai Berry Ultimate, there seems to be little reason to believe it can achieve anything remotely similar to what the product website claims.
